Funding For Canoe Sprint Champ’s Paddles

Cantabrian Olympic Hopeful Danielle Currie needs help getting to this year’s World Champs. Employer Gerry’s Wraps is promising Danielle $3 for every photo posted on Instagram or Facebook of Gerry’s Wraps this weekend.

Two days into Gerry’s Wraps’ campaign to get Canoe Sprint Champ Danielle Currie to this year’s World Champs; and there is enough to buy Danielle some paddles.

Thanks to four donations, the fund now has NZ$1050 (US$825). Special thanks goes to Everest Global Logistics with its very generous $500 and John Roy Photography Facebook page for his kind$100 donation.

Every little bit helps and this weekend Gerry’s Wraps is paying $3 for every Instagram and Facebook photo taken of its stand at Christchurch’s The Food Show.

Photos must include #GlutenFreeNZ & #GerrysWraps in the text so they can be found online and counted. The total donation from Gerry’s Wraps will be calculated and added to Danielle’s crowdfunding site next week.
Those not at the show can still help by posting photos of meals made with Gerry’s Wraps, on Facebook and Instagram with the same hashtags.

Funding Milestones

This year’s training ahead of the World Champs is in Hungary, where the NZ squad will train and compete with the Hungarian team for three weeks before going to the World Champs in Portugal.

This training is essential.
