Order Processing and Shipping

New Zealand Shipping

As of May 2023, Gerry’s offers our New Zealand customers the choice between 2 third party courier services; PBT and Castle Parcels. You can choose your preferred courier service at the “Check Out Cart” step of creating your order.

All orders are sent with authority to leave.  If this is not acceptable please contact our customer service team before purchasing to see if alternate arrangements can be made.

Estimated delivery times for PBT are 1-2 working days for local/Christchurch and 2-5 working days for the rest of NZ. For rural deliveries, please allow up to an additional 2 days for Rural Delivery which is handled by NZ Post. Estimated delivery times for Castle Parcels are 1-2 working days for local/Christchurch and 2 working days for the rest of NZ.

Shipping is FREE for all orders over $50, excluding postal addresses that are Rural, Waiheke Island and Great Barrier, also excluding some bundle deals. All FREE shipping deliveries are handled by PBT.

*NEW* Australia Shipping

As of September 2023, Gerry’s is offering shipping on our core products only, to Australia for a flat rate of $20 NZD. Our core products are the popular Gerry’s Super Bread, Go Low Carb bread, Gerry’s Buns, Gerry’s Rolls and Gerry’s Pizza bases and wraps. After you have created your order, you can select Australia in the drop-down menu in your cart. 

Estimated delivery times to Australia from New Zealand are 6 working days.

Dispatch & Delivery

We aim to process and dispatch orders within 24 hours however this can vary due to stock availability. Orders are processed and dispatched Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders received after 3pm will be processed the following working day. Please note that the delivery times are from the date of dispatch. Our Gerry’s breads, buns and rolls are mostly dispatched on the day of bake, to maximise their quality and have an 18 day shelf life.

Once items have left our factory, we cannot control hold-ups in the courier delivery process so please contact the third party courier service if there are any delays in your product delivery as per the tracking information. Alternatively, our Customer Service team are also available to support you.
